FEBRUARY HALF-TERM AT THE STENO MUSEUM

Thank you for a fantastic February half-term 2024 about signals from space

Space is filled with satellites orbiting the Earth. Satellite signals make it possible to navigate, watch TV, surf the internet, and communicate with each other. They also enable us to monitor the weather, track climate changes and much more.

During the 2024 February half-term, there was a glitch in the signals at the Steno Museum, so we couldn't watch the rocket launch live from Cape Canaveral in Florida. Fortunately, there were many talented families who helped us get everything working again.

Thanks for the assistance from the cheerful and active families who sorted out the signals for us and tried their hand at everything from experiments to stop-motion films.
